He gives the Cats a C -- but he's looking at it from a local perspective and NU only took two kids from Illinois. I initially thought that was unfair, but upon further review it may not be that far off. Just looking at his Illinois Top 50, he points out the Cats missed on Quayvon Skanes, Sean Foster (not really) and Erik Swenson. In addition, the Cats also missed on Tuf Borland (tough to recruit against OSU) and Julian Love (Notre Dame), and never offered Sam Brodner (Wisconsin), Emmanuel Rugamba (Iowa) or Thomas Schaffer (Stanford).
