Notre Dame is actually not an AAU school. And I think hell will freeze over before they join the Big Ten, unless Michigan leaves first. They would join the MAC just to spite the Big Ten first.

Notre Dame’s ultimate decision will be driven by its desire to play games:
- in the best recruiting grounds (read: ”not Nebraska”)
- and ideally where their fans live.

They have the midwest covered. They gain nothing from joining the B1G.
