OK, NU's #5 Pardon gets his dunk rejected by the Wisconsin player, but he was integral to the play that was highlighted as the Number 5 Play of the Day on Sports Center's Top Ten Plays of the Day feature. The announcer continues, adding, "But Northwestern would go on to win 66 to 59."

Also on ESPN's Sports Center, Northwestern versus Wisconsin was one of the two college basketball games with a ranked team playing that was featured with highlights. The other was the Virginia versus Virginia Tech game.

Well Alaska, there were only 4 ranked teams playing yesterday. There was a pretty good chance winning at No. 7 was gonna sneak in there ;)

Did anyone find it odd that the unranked vs unranked Michigan game also got featured?

The feature:

No foul was called, but the replay showed that a call should have been made. The defender did get his hand on the ball which seemed to have impressed the refs so much that they ignored all the contact down below. Unfortunately the still shot above doesn't do justice to what actually happened.

Are any of these helpful?

And to add insult to injury, the ball was very clearly out of bounds off of the trailing UW player...instead they called a jump ball and possession to UW...good thing we won!

And the flat out blew an and 1 later in the game on a Pardon dunk-- guess they felt sorry for the guy he posterized (Bohannon I believe).
