A tough opening game on the road versus a ranked opponent. I didn't see what I wished for, but there were lots of positives.
1.) Defense is very good and will get better. We will always have a chance to win with Hank's men. Tackling will get immensely better.
2.) Hunter Johnson showed flashes of being very good. Ran well, passing timing and efficiency will come. He is going to be very good.
3.) We were down only 7-10 with a chance to win it very late in the game despite our gaffes.
4.) Openers suck for coaches and players, regardless. You never know what is going to happen. We made uncharacteris mistakes which we will clean up.
5.) In the heat, we showed excellent conditioning and effort.
6.) The sun came up in Indiana, there is alot to like about our Wildcats.
