I was skeptical throughout the season that Fitz was going to fire JON. Then I was skeptical on who he was going to hire. I figured it would be a very conventional, someone with ties to NU or someone that was just let go from a P5 staff. I was pleasantly surprised with the direction that Fitz went with the hirings. I am glad he went outside the box and outside his comfort zone. Hopefully these hires will be the defensive equivalent of when Randy Walker brought in the spread offense. All three of these hires may fail miserably but at least we will fail trying to do something different.
Faith in Fitz restored?
