You know how you wake up on a fall Saturday and all you're thinking about is the game. If it's a home game you're packing up the car for the tailgate. If it's a road game, you've got the Big Ten Network on all morning. The whole day is built around the game, and it's all you think about. For basketball, it's usually just "Hey, I guess there's a game tonight at 8. I'll grab an early dinner after work and head over there. Maybe we'll win." Not today. Today feels like a football Saturday. Sure, I still have to go to work and I'll still grab an early dinner before heading over to the arena, but my mind will be on the game all day. I will try to get there early to soak in the atmosphere. This is not how a basketball gameday usually feels. I like it.
