Wondering what the level of optimism is for the Boards

Once accused of being the eternal optimist, I find myself difficult to muster such enthusiasm.

Don't mind making my vote public here; I think Fitz cleans house because he has to...; we're 4-20 over the past 2 seasons.

This is a Dark Ages team right now, and there's no way any minor changes can turn this around.

I hope you are right. I am starting to get skeptical that we will see the changes we need. Perhaps patience is in order, but it's been a long season.

I can’t see how either coordinator stays, and I think we’ve learned that any coordinator worth hiring will want significant control over his staff.

I like your ’New Dark Ages’ name, from the poll. NDA is a terrific shorthand for the past couple of seasons.

We all saw the games happen, but we aren’t allowed to speak about them.

I voted "both coordinators are fired", but every hour that goes by with nothing happening makes me less confident. And then, if he takes like a month to "assess", we will be stuck with picked-over turkey(s) from some other program. For a guy that routinely goes for it on 4th and medium, he sure isn't decisive.

There is nothing to decide. No one could survive this. ONLY at NU would we even be having this conversation

Sadly, what we have learned since 9 AM Sunday is very telling. You want a head coach that always has an improvement plan, a short list of potential replacements, and the courage to move forward immediately.

I don't care about all of the replies that are going to tell me we need to look to Pat Ryan or Derrick Gragg. You need to look at the guy in the captain's chair.

I was at a wedding this summer in Bosnia. There was a party the night before. My wife and younger daughter arrived the day before but my adult daughter arrived same day as the party, pregnant and exhausted. We didn't want to wake her but we wanted to get to the party. By the time we got there, the food was completely picked over and cold. That's what Fitz's coordinator options will be.

I'm trying to figure out who's pregnant and exhausted in this analogy. I think it's we the fans.

Ah, so THAT's the problem: Bajakian was coordinating our defense this whole time.
