It looks like a disappointing crowd today. As usual, the student sections are the emptiest part of the arena. The high roller section is going to be fairly sparse, while the upper deck attendance is pretty good.

Looking for NU to take care of business today.

Northwestern has taken eight shots. Six of them have been 3s.

They've got to do a better job getting the ball inside to Pardon and working through him.

12-5 DePaul at the first timeout.

Three-ball fest. Come on guys... wake up, play defense, and take it inside with Pardon. For F's sake.

NU is now 2-9 from the floor. No rhythm offensively.

There is so much standing around on offense. WTF is going on fellas? Think you can just sleep walk through a game against a 1-loss opponent? What a joke. Step up!

NU is now 0-7 on 3s. Law had one that they took away and made a 2 upon review. It could be one of those games for NU's offense. They are settling for jump shots and aren't getting anything going to the rim.

Greer looks ok. Nance needs to get better at rebounding to stay out there. Team is settling down a bit and got Pardon some good touches.

The 3s are starting to fall for NU. After missing their first eight, they have hit their last three in a row.

Kopp gaining confidence every game. You can just see it in his body language. He’s going to be a good one for us.

Yep. I said in another thread I'd have him play 30 minutes next game against Chicago State. NU is going to need him to be an interchangeable part of this wing rotation in conference play. He's earning time today.

Gaines has also been playing within himself. Doing a great job.

Gaines looks good! So does Turner. Taylor not so much

Pardon having a pretty poor day today. And when are we going to see Taylor be even close to the player he was last year at Evansville?

Getting spanked today fellas. Soft... far too soft. This team needs to start on the defensive end. Lock down there first and foremost. Came out today without an attitude at all. Right now, they are not deserving...

At half time, DuPaul looks like the far better team. They got some lucky breaks in the first five minutes, it they’ve just outplayed us for most of the game.

I can’t imagine how this lockeroom pep talk is going to sound.

Boy are we being outclassed on both ends of the floor. DePaul is the much more confident, assertive team. We just have no offensive skill.

We are deeper than we used to be, but the top-end offensive skill level really isn't better than 10 years ago. This team needs to hang around by playing good defense, and it is not doing that today.

Guessing the pep talk was effective!
