Here's a one-paragraph primer on the Buckeyes from NUSports...

The Buckeyes (12-7, 2-4) have won their last two games since starting their Big Ten season with four straight losses. Ohio State got a layup from Marc Loving with 0.6 seconds remaining to beat Nebraska, 67-66, Thursday night in Lincoln. Loving paced OSU with 15 points and 11 rebounds in the contest. Jae'Sean Tate leads five Buckeyes averaging in double figures at 14.1 points per game while Trevor Thompson is third in the Big Ten in rebounding (9.0 pg), fourth in blocked shots (1.9 pg) and seventh in field goal percentage (.586).

The Buckeyes' record may not be impressive, but they are, as usual, athletic and talented, and they're playing better as of late. And I can't forget to mention that NU hasn't beaten Ohio State in Columbus since 1978.

This is going to be a big one for NU's Ohioans, Dererk Pardon and Gavin Skelly.

NU has been a start-hot or start-cold team all year. They started cold -- 1 for its first 7 -- but trail just 9-8, thanks to B-Mac and a 3 from Lumpkin.

Lyle has two fouls already for OSU. That could be big.

NU is now 4-19 overall and 2-9 on 3s. That isn't gonna cut it.

Well... we look like crap so far. Love it when we get excited.

NU has six offensive rebounds already, helping them overcome poor shooting so far.

Our defense is poor today. OSU is quick and driving to the hoop. Maybe we should go zone.

Cats showing their quality. This team is gooooood!

Big last two minutes to the half. And Cats force a timeout with a 9-0 run. Bucks hit a prayer 3 to cut half time lead to 5. Cats survive another slow start. Really impressed Cats did not let horrid shooting get them in a hole at half.

We saw good Isaiah and learning Isaiah the last few possessions. On the first he drove deep into traffic - and kicked to Skelly for a wide open shot. Then he drove deep into traffic and forced one up. He's definitely gaining on it though.
