Might be the softest 17-0 halftime lead I’ve ever seen.
This defense is going to be absolutely shredded in the B1G unless/until we figure out how to play with any kind of physicality. The defensive line doesn’t seem to have any kind of pass rush plan besides “run into the OL,” the LBs aren’t physically arriving at contact, and the DBs are waiting back tentatively.
Hilinski at least flashes decisiveness, though we haven’t really tried to push the ball down the field at all. Hull is fine, but not going to break those long ones in conference play. Robinson has some juice, not seeing much out of any of the other WRs.
