Hank likes Vitale, Thompson, Mayo and redshirt freshman J. McGee. It's great to hear good things about so many of our young defensive players. The Big Ten network crew liked Hartage a lot. One of the players talked up Murray. Reese seems to have good potential. I haven't heard anyone talk about Westphal, but I assume that's because he's still working his way back from surgery. Our depth at db appears to be really, really strong (knock on wood). It's shocking to me given how difficult it's been through the years.
Kuhar is still working his way back from surgery. It sounds like he's going to need more time. That's why it's important that Thompson has impressed. They mentioned Oxley, Lancaster and Chapman as the other guys with a chance to play with Robbins.
Linebacker is Hank's primary concern. He mentioned how much flexibility Jimmy Hall gave him last year.
