For Glades: You shouldn't be so proud of your key to lubbock.

What's up guys? I see some great news on the facility. Not sure what it means, but I think it's a great sign.

I saw this article on facebook and remember Glades bragging about getting a key to Lubbock on his Texas Tech visit. What does that even mean? Did it come with any perks? I guess now, they're giving out keys to cities to pretty much everyone... even the supreme leader of fictional terrorist organizations. Can't imagine terrorist being a hot enough word these days to have an negative political ramifications.

Springfield: Really?

The City of Lubbock probably gives out keys to anyone who willingly visits their city. They only have to make about a hundred every year.

The entire ceremony was a complete joke and I wasn't comfortable with it. It was one of the most bizarre things I've ever experienced. A sign of how crazy recruiting and Texas were. How many times did the band, cheerleaders, and Mayor have to drive out to the airport during December and January? It does make for a good story, though.

shakes,

Nice to hear from you man!
It's my understanding that Glades' key to the city in Lubbock entitled him to one free jump at Lubbock's finest house of ill-repute. Whether he took advantage of it is another matter, and, out of respect for the big man, I'll defer to him in the event he wishes to comment further.

Ok, so a guy is at a truck stop in Texas and he's talking to a fellow trucker who recommends going to "Lubbock's finest house of ill-repute." The first guy says "no no, it's way out of my way," but the second says "Trust me, it's worth it." So the trucker goes. He gets there and the only person there is an old lady wearing an eye patch...

I probably need to stop now, but email me if you want to the rest of the joke.... it's inappropriate.

Having spent a good amount of time in the city of Lubbock for business, I've found the citizens to be very warm and welcoming, the food to be great (some of the best Tex-Mex in the states, and great steak, of course) and TT to be decent.
