Former St Mary's/Current (?) Portland Guard Frank Porter at NU Practice (via AJ Turner insta story)

This is really random and probably speculation but on AJ Turner's instagram story, there is footage of Franklin Porter in the locker with all the guys. Porter started at Saint Mary's and then transferred to Univ. of Portland, where his dad is the coach. He averaged 9 PPG, 3 REB, 2 AST last season.

I don't think this means anything, especially since his dad is the coach at Portland. Nonetheless I figured I would pass this along, as I'm curious to hear what everyone thinks. Porter is seen in the locker room, which I would imagine is not normal for a player on another team to do. Thoughts?

Since he just finished his redshirt season at Portland, I'd find it surprising if he transferred again. My guess is that he played AAU with Turner and was in town.

Terry Porter was a hell of a player
 
Both went to high school in New Hampshire. Maybe that's the connection?

But I think your initial thought is correct. He's not transferring anywhere for a second time with his Dad coaching and his brother also on the team.

You’re so funny. Too bad InsideNU already reported Collins saying “our eyes and ears are open” for the 13th player but they won’t “add just to add.”
