Did anyone else notice the similarity in the game plans of both teams in Palo Alto? I thought they were basically mirror images. Stanford's passing game was primarily to their big tight end but both teams threw a lot to the flat. Meanwhile, our CBs played well off their receivers and they completed most of their flat passes there whereas their CBs played tight to our receivers and batted down a number of our passes that could have otherwise been completed. Both teams ran off tackle a lot. Our OL was not anywhere as good as Stanford's. Our good defense got little to no pressure on their QBs and their defense got a lot of pressure on ours.
