This feels must-win to me. I don't want the recent positives to disappear completely - NU needs to right the ship. More importantly, with other potential bubble teams like Penn State and Ohio State losing this weekend, NU needs to keep Wisconsin off the bubble. I'm not saying the Big Ten will definitely get nine teams, but if it comes down to NU and Wisconsin as that ninth team and one team swept the other...well, that's nice.
Good start so far. The days off will help. Another tough venue though. Go Cats!

We're getting 50/50 balls this game. So much better than against MI
It's too easy to swipe the ball out of MN's hands down in the post it's really frustrating because with his size he should be bullying people down there
It's not so much that Barny took a bad shot, it's that there's no reason to let Wisconsin get one last possession
We should be ahead by at least 5 but more like 7 or 9 if not for mental mistakes. Ugh. Could be the difference, especially on the road.
Starting to think we should give more of Beran's minutes to Martinelli
Weird game. Team still exhausted. Everyone has between 4 and 6 points for NU. This thread is so dead because nobody knows what to make of it.
Verhoeven is not exhausted, he's rebounding very well. Barny has lots of energy, so too Martinelli.
Not sure about that call on MN. Tydus will have plenty more minutes to keep playing well.
Yeah, that’s a bad call that went against Matt. The bump was from the help defender.
