The last regular season game of the 2024-25 campaign is here and Northwestern (16-14, 7-12 Big Ten) is on the road at No. 13 Maryland (23-7, 13-6 Big Ten). The game will air on Peacock and tip off at 2 pm CT.

They kept saying on the previous game that Penn State was playing its last game of the season, but they're 16-15 now with their upset of Wisconsin. I bet the same gods who were protecting them against NU when they matched up will pick them for the Crown or NIT ahead of NU.

Maryland looks coached up for where we pass the ball inside. Clayton trying to be an instigator and force attention on him, not working too well. Good scores, but that three was just bad. That dead ball foul scenario was weird, didn't follow it - two fouls on NU, one on Md?

Announcers keep talking like we have no bigs after Nicholson, and Hunger first off the bench is a bit unusual as of late. Hope he’s available.

You see 7-3 in fouls and you think they have two bigs, there’s gonna be a disparity. And then you see the foul of Berry on Queen, followed by swallowing a whistle on Keenan on the other hand, and you can’t help wondering WTF.

That’s one kind of positive way of looking at it. The other is that he’s that meme of the cat looking at the mirror and seeing a lion.

And I hate going back to refs but screw this, Keenan called for another foul for just being there. Good grief.

There really isn’t a role for hunger to play in alot of these games.

You see our enormous difficulty in scoring and you think, sooner or later, MD will get at least a little bit hot, score at a higher pace, and we won’t stand a chance in this game.

Having said that, this group fights, surprises you. It’s easy to like this team.

That was a criminal sequence from the refs. Should've been a backcourt violation, then should've been a moving screen foul, then Maryland buried a 3.

I don't know what you can do. It really ruins the game having refs who automatically assume the call is against you.
