If his is with us, he’s the Old Testament God: vengeful. And NU must have done something very wrong. We’re still wandering around in the desert looking for the Promised Land with no end in sight.

I am sorry our travails have left you in despair. While it may be true that we have done something very wrong, it is not true that our struggles are the result of a vengeful and punishing god. However, if we can confirm God was a STH who lost a prime space in the West Lot, then he would be vengeful.
Just remember: from the desert known as Dyche Stadium will spring a new shining edifice.

A STH who lost their prime space in the west lot I know exactly how he feels and can't blame him one bit.Hopefully,as the years go by he will be kind and merciful and take pity on us saying NU fans have suffered enough because admissions won't bend and I will grant them peace and success on the sports playing fields and courts.
Although we have already spent more than 40 years in the desert, it looks like the Promised Land is still beyond our horizon.
I am sorry we have so many skeptics among us. Have faith! Better days will come.

I would say Faith No More is more appropriate for my generation. In 1995, the hard rock band released its seminal album 'King for a Day, Fool for a Lifetime.' Perhaps it was fitting that the Purple went to Pasadena that year.
