No idea what he’s been up to for the last 5 years or so since the Kendall Gill kerfuffel, but he was on WSCR this morning in Chicago. Told a funny story about his dad running high stakes super bowl squares. He’s better than many of the WSCR regulars, hope he gets more airtime in the future

He worked for 120 sports for a while. Also, if you ever go to Joe's on Weed Street, you can find him posted up in a booth betting on horse races

We're one of those cable cutting families so we only have the antenna channels on our tv. Anyway, there are a bunch of weird stations on antenna including one called Stadium Channel which is some kind of low-grade sports channel. Anyway... Tim Doyle is one of the hosts for some sports highlight/talk show on there.

Yes, this is what 120 Sports turned into. Jerry Reinsdorf is a big investor in it and they’re hedging their bets that cable won’t be around much longer

Think he's been on the WSCR last Sunday as well.

I liked him with McNeil - certainly better to my ears than Spiegel and especially Goff and all the other baby-Bernstein’s they have filling in or doing weekends.
Agree. I also enjoy listening to the Julio DiCaro and the other lady, who's name is slipping from my not so good memory bank. They offer a different and interesting perspective. Oh yes and less of Les Grobstein.

Maggie Hendricks.

Been quite some time since I’ve been to the Mud Bug at Joe’s, but saw Doyle there on a few different occasions...Also once went there on a random Tuesday afternoon and somehow ended up playing the horses with Lou Piniella and Matt Sinatra. It was hysterical- Lou asking my opinions on races all afternoon, and him and Sinatra calling horses “sluts” when they didn’t win (you can’t make this stuff up).
