After a brief hiatus, the Northwestern Fan Website "HailtoPurple.com" has updated with new features including a "Much too Early Bowl Prediction" and an interesting historical discussion of Homecoming at Northwestern. Little did I know that Northwestern's homecoming game in 1911 against University of Chicago was one of the first in the nation with Illinois getting credit for the first one just.a year prior.

I take solace from the fact that expectations for our basketball team making the NCAA Tournament this year were likely lower this time last year than are present expectations for the football team.
