Several players have tweeted out their baffled and angry reactions to athletic director Derrick Gragg apparently joining the Northwestern football Zoom meeting, reading a statement and then leaving without taking questions.

These two clowns (Gregg and Schill) need to go.
Schill I'm not sure. I think Fitz had to go because of "knew or should have known ". It's what would happen to any manager. Schill did a lousy job with Friday suspension but that might have been bad advice. Anyway he's here, ample time to find out. The invisible AD however...wtf

Gragg has handled this situation about as poorly as possible, and the baseball situation doubles the problems that he has as AD.

Schill is new to NU and yes he mishandled the initial part of this, but I don't think he's going to be out.

Gragg though has seemed completely incompetent by comparison.

That's not just cause. You can't say "just 'cause you suck"

NO. If the stuff unearthed by the investigation is as bad as you believe, and the president looked at that and decided to give Fitz a slap on the wrist, he does not get to hide behind "bad advice." I don't care how new he is to the job. He is the president of the university; he's the top dog. He has shown that he has no moral backbone and his only guiding light is the advice of his counsel. He is unfit to lead.

Truly botched by Schill. If he had made a stronger penalty at the start, Fitz could have kept his job.

A stronger punishment was deserving based on what Schill made his initial decision upon, but regardless, Fitz would never have survived once the recent allegations came to light.

What's looks bad is making the initial decision after a 5-6 month investigation and then making a decision antithetical to the 1st one after 2-3 days.

Even if ultimately come to the same decision, needed to spend more time on a proper re-investigation (evidently, the 1st one wasn't thorough enough).

Truly unbelievable that an Athletic Director that has two separate major scandals going on that are ON FIRE right now remains on an overseas vacation.

How is that even close to acceptable? He has been a total incompetent coward since day one.
His wife told him that he wasn't leaving and he said, "Yes, dear."

This is a joke and based on no actual knowledge. I probably could get a second source, though. So, I guess they'll print it in the Daily Northwestern.

Still a joke.

Yeah, let's keep a liar as our head coach, but as long as he keeps winning...oh, nvm.
If only there was a device that people could use to quickly cross the seas.
Perhaps in the air, like a bird.
But alas, such a craft is mere folly.
Folly indeed, you're talking suicide. We are meant to travel in only 2 dimensions.
