That was one ballsy performance. The Terps had us on the ropes, and the Cats just stared them down. And that defense over the last ten minutes was unreal.

Add what has transpired in football recruiting this week, I am one happy and proud Cat. Time to crack open that really expensive tequila.

Agreed. It was a bit of a shock to see how much better Maryland was than Rutgers, but NU took every punch and never got knocked down.

They played with confidence. Real growth. Compare tonight's last three minutes with the Notre Dame and Butler finishes. The coaches made those teaching moments and remained positive. With a full, healthy squad we can play with anyone in the BIG. The team reflects CC's personality. Mentally tough, not intimidated and enjoy the challenge.

Go Cats!

Amazing run by the Wildcats! They actually have a chance to win the Big Ten Tournament! But even if they don't, their seeding in the Big Dance just jumped nicely tonight. :D

Even when down 10 in the second half, no panic or frustration by the Cats. Compare that to the body language of Maryland players after we came back and took the lead. We just kept playing when down, and once we came back and took the lead, all the air entire out of Maryland. Our guys are mentally tough and know how to play together. What a fun team to watch. Go Cats!

The team needed the Big 3 to play their game and they did, esp. at the crucial juncture when UMD had gone on their run and were leading by 10.

The game could have been slipping away, but BMac hit that huge 3 right in front of the bench, followed by a Lindsey 3 and later, Law getting a lot of contact attacking the basket but still converting.

After that stretch when the 'Cats took a 2 pt lead, even with plenty of time left, had a good feeling.

Also, props to the bench for outscoring UMD's bench.

When each of the Big 3 are on and the bench is contributing, the 'Cats are a tough, tough out.

What a satisfying victory - got 2 monkeys off the back of the program (into the semis and beat UMD).

I simply love the way we come back in games now! It wasn't that long ago that a lot lead was lost forever. Now it's temporary. Love it!!
