There were rumors that last season would be his last. Signing day has come and gone with no additional announcements.
So is no news good news? Is he likely to return for at least one more season so that he doesn’t end his impressive career on a down note? And to also lead Paddy Fisher for his 5th year and teach McG more about his system?
This program needs a bowl appearance badly to regain momentum. If Jake can get our offense to at least a mediocre level, then there is enough talent on defense to compete in all our 2020 games and win more than we lose.
