I was over there for a while watching Turk's rants and it was kind of fun. Now the board has been hijacked by these two arguing back and forth, gomer something an xyzboy something. before, that board was basically radio silence, now it is as loud obnoxious as talk radio.

TOS doesn't support that NU community, so if there is any discussion, some advertisers selling sports equipment or kitchen appliances firebombs all post. I haven't been over there in quite a while. I spend most of my time over at 24/7 or SB nation which has a lot more information. Emma is at 247 and his message board is interesting but not well trafficked. Most of us will need a couple victories before we can get pumped up about NU football. As long as we develop Thorson, we may be able to surprise Stanford. I'm assuming our OL and WR couldn't be any worse than last year, and I'm cautiously optimistic about Thorson, Anderson, Vault, Jackson, Long, Nagel, Vitale. Time will tell, but those guys can make the OL look a helluva lot better. So the OL may be manageable and I'd cautiously say we can get to a bowl with the potential impact players in the RB/Slot positions. I'm not counting on Christian Jones, we have to be fair to him. Hopefully, he will be close to 100% by November. I've watched enough football to realize two double tears sets players back a lot. I wish him the best though. I just hope we show up at Duke because a victory alongside some good Carolina BBQ would be nice for us.

No. They are competing scouting services. 247 is affiliated with CBS Sports, and is IMHO by far the most reliable rating service.

He's been. We went back and forth until I got sick of him and others and walked away. When we arranged a fight outside the Stanford game , I decided that the board was no longer a positive influence on my character so I walked away.

I hope someone at TOS eventually deletes some of those posts given the negative light they reflect on Wildcat football fans, particularly with regard to potential recruits who may wonder onto that site.
Not shakes. Not wrassller. And clearly not a purple kool aid guy. Can't help but wonder why my responses get deleted while this whole thread violates the stated Board rules. Great sense of FairPlay on this website.
