Heading to the game this Saturday

I will be there. But no parking pass. I was told by ticket office that I can't park in aquatics lot on north campus by New facility. Anybody know if this is true and/or why???

Thought I had read that campus lots were available for Homecoming Weekend - unless marked otherwise

Here you go:

Parking
Campus parking lots are free during Reunion Weekend. University parking restrictions for campus lots will be waived starting 4 p.m. Thursday, October 5, through Sunday evening, October 8, excluding emergency lanes and reserved spots.

Valet parking will be available for alumni visitors on Friday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and on Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The valet parking attendant booth is located near The Block Museum of Art on Arts Circle Drive.

There is no public day-of-game parking at Ryan Field. Hop on a free game-day shuttle to get to the stadium easily.

Complete game-day parking and additional shuttle information is available on the football transportation website.

I know from driving past on the previous games this year that the Metra spots along Poplar have been wide open, very few takers.

One underrated thing to do is to take the CTA (not the NU shuttle) bus to the game. You just park near a bus stop, say in downtown Evanston, and ride up to the game. Bus stops right at the enterance to the stadium. (Or park at Old Orchard and take the same bus line going the other way if you take line 201).

The Howard marching band got a louder ovation from our fans than any play by the Cats.
I was there w wife and we both thought it was a testament to who NU is that our fans so vigorously applauded th Howard band.
