Are you going to let stand a thread whose entire purpose is for a certain poster to belittle and insult other posters?

As one of the 10 (or so) original members of the precursor board that became this one, I think many of us find your arbitrary censorship unfortunate.

Just curious if you're aware of your own hypocrisy.

You've run a lot of long-time, intelligent and interesting posters off this board. You have every right to be a homer, but perhaps you could clarify the board rules? In the past peoples' posts questioning where their posts have gone have just been deleted.

Can I get you a tissue? Nice to call out the mods, though, that will certainly make them a lot more sympathetic to your plight. Ironically, if you had made the same post about me, I would have laughed it off for the joke that it was.

Keep on trolling here after bad losses, though; think you might break the board record for deleted posts in a year. You can dish it out, but you most certainly can't take it; hence your grand total of THREE (3!) "likes" in the 1,900 posts you have had here since we changed message board formats.

There are many, while others have just given up the ship and the board is a shell of it's old self because of it.

Who? Let's hear the names. The board did suffer during the Carmody vs. Collins wars, and some great posters, like Smithee, only recently returned. However the board is better than it has been since prior to that time, imo. Unless you are telling me people actually miss DocCatsFan?

Number 1 board rule...Don't call out or disparage the moderators as biased or hypocritical. Moderating the boards is a thankless job as it is and they won't tolerate it. Do that on any other Rivals board and you will be immediately banned.

Right, I agree. But you're missing the point.

I didn't mind mikewebbs post in the least. He explained the post in the title. How hard is it to just ignore if it's not your thing? Instead we delete it? I Found it funny and interesting (if inaccurate at times). It just flies in the face of the stated board rules, is all. If it were up to me the post would still be up and running.

There are people who, like you and others (112), openly defy board decorum repeatedly without any steps taken. Obviously it comes down to whether Lou "likes" or "agrees" with you. That's not a moderator, it's a censor.

In 16 years I have never once made any personal attack, nor ever taken the slightest offense when attacked. In 16 years have I ever called you a petulant, thin-skinned, whiny d * * che? No.

Basically you could post the exact same sentence on this board 10 times: if the person named at the end of the sentence, and nothing else, changed, some would stand, some wouldn't. Change Carmody to Collins, Collins to O'Neill, O'Neill to ....... and you see my meaning.

If Lou and others want a happy, homer, feel good, safe space, fine. But he should say so.

They do that because they are fake posters and they create fake posts. But they know that, and I know that. And we know that each other know that we know that.

The fake posters, the ones that post anti me stuff, are repulsive and should be ashamed of themselves. Everyone knows that I have better posts by a wider majority than everyone who has left this board. Everyone knows it. It's so obvious.

First, why is it that in these press conferences you call only on reporters wearing those red "Make Wildcat Report Greater Than BuzzFeed Again” baseball caps? Second, you continue to boast you are going to build (and I quote) "the greatest and most breach-resistant firewall ever, to deter home-grown trolls and posters from all other conference schools”. Yet, reports are now leaking out from unnamed highly-placed members of your own staff who assert privately that Rivals can only afford the electronic equivalent of an 18-inch high plastic garden border thingy like the ones we get at Home Depot to keep the bunnies away from our turnip plantings. Are they bigly wrong when they imply you're just trash talking from your anal cavity again? Or, do you have assurances from other BIG schools that they are willing to pay for this high powered NTZ (negative thought zapping) barrier?

You may be long-time but you are neither intelligent (at least when it comes to sports) or interesting. I would not miss you in the least if you never posted again. If I get banned for this, I can live with that. I don't want homers but I really can't understand how someone who apparently follows the team only posts when something negative happens and take pleasure in losses and setbacks. DocCat was so ridiculously one-sided (Carmody all good, Fitz and Collins all bad), passive aggressive and disingenuous that you couldn't take any of his posts seriously. In my opinion, this Board is a better place without either of you. The team is a having a historic season and you are still whining and bitching. I'd rather talk about Rutgers and getting to the tournament (the real one, not the NIT).
