2021 guard Luke Goode visited NU yesterday and was in the stands for the Cats' game vs. Wisconsin last night. While this was his first visit as a recruit, he has been to NU twice before for football games because I found out that his cousins are Bennett Skowronek and T.J. Green. So he's got some strong ties to NU. Plus, he is also a QB at Ft. Wayne Homestead (Skowronek's alma mater) and went to NU's football camp last summer. He doesn't have an offer yet but told me that he was really impressed by Welsh-Ryan, the coaches, the campus and his entire experience. He isn't in the Rivals database yet, but I'll add him.
The other visitor was Indiana 2021 phenom Luke Brown. The 6-foot guard is the state scoring leader right now. Here's a USAToday story about Brown from Greg Doyel.
Four-star forward Caleb Furst was also supposed to be there, but he had a team dinner and had to cancel. He and Goode are good buddies and have been playing together since second grade.
