How are team expenses for the tournament handled?

I know how it works for football bowl games, at least in the Big Ten.

The tournament is a money machine for the NCAA, and some of the smaller conference participants couldn't possibly pay their own expenses without some form of reimbursement or payout.

Anybody know how it works for the tournament?

The NCAA pays travel, lodging and per diem for the traveling party of team, staff, cheerleaders and band. By bus if <350 miles from school to regional site and by air if >350 miles.
