if the other team can put their hand through the bottom of the rim? That has to be the biggest ref blooper in NU basketball lore and it won't be forgotten anytime soon.
 
I thought there was another non goal tending call earlier in the game as well.

There was. It occurred during a Lindsey continuation back in the first half.

Lappas was trying to stay impartial throughout, but even he had a hard time avoiding officiating critiques at certain points in the game.

Another favorite of mine was Skelly being fouled going up to the basket and failing to get the ...And One because.... ? I'm still waiting to learn why no continuation on that.

We shot terrible from 3 in the 1st half, but our guys were really, really perplexed and thrown off by the poor officiating in the 1st half. You could see it affect Vic Law, Scottie, and Sanjay in their body language.

Agreed.

The officiating influenced this game WAY too much. That shouldn't happen. Was Ted Valentine one of the refs? Looked like him from afar. Wouldn't be surprised if this nonsense occurred with him in the mix.
