I guess it did show me how delusional some UofI fans are. Fitz has 30 B1G wins....UofI has 24 in that span. Fitz has won 10 games in a season in that time span...UofI best was 9 in 2007. Fitz has never lost more than 8 games in a season (2006)....UofI has lost 8 or more in 4 seasons.

What do you mean by when we start beating them in roundball? We are 5-5 head-to-head with the Illini in our last 10 games in men's hoops. Of course, their fans do pretend it's an oddity and that the the sky is falling every time we beat them...but it's been competitive the past six seasons. In fact, one of the Illni victories over that span was in OT and another was a one-point buzzer beater in a game that NU dominated until the final two minutes. The Illini have nothing on us in hoops.
UI fans are nothing if not delusional. Their FB program is truly a joke, given that they are a major state flagship institution in a power 5 conference. Their high-water mark was the Zuppke era almost 100 years ago.

These guys are f&cking delusional. But I understand the mentality; I spent three years in Champaign during the Mike White years and things weren't any different with Illini fans back then. But this nonsense about our recruiting standards being "almost" higher than theirs? I kinda wish I could comment on that board, but then, why waste my time?
Agreed. It looks like some posters on this board have "selective reading abilities". Many of the posts were pretty positive of Fitz and NU, and several were quite insightful.
