I think everyone in the program (hopefully) has learned a painful lesson about handling first-time success.

This year has been a colossal disappointment, but I think the painful lessons will help recapture the hunger and build a more sturdy run in the future.

Awful, gut-wrenching, disconcerting, pull-your-hair out season. Today was the pinnacle, or nadir, depending on your preference.

But as my wizened old b school friend once said, coming up with an encore after your success can be the hardest challenge one can face.

I don't know why you guys are overthinking this.

We just missed all the shots in the second half (11 points!). This includes some gimmes like layups.

Make the freaking shots. Don't overshoot (I was watching on TV and every one of our three point shots hit the back rim. That means we are shooting too hard and that is usually because the player is nervous, he is overexerting).

If we had made like six layups we win today.

My comment was not about the game. It was about the season.

Agree that we could not make the shots needed. Too bad.
