I think we really didn't learn much today.

Some things I learned:
-The D (esp the front 7) has a major problem with tackling, moreso than I even suspected
-BB is often not on the same page as the receivers, even tho we're three games in
-Even when he's on the same page, BB is sometimes weirdly inaccurate

NU is competently bad. Not a lot of turnovers. Not great tackling, but also no Kenneth Walker runs to this point. Neither side of the ball makes big plays. Any NU fumbles so far?

This is way better than losing 41-3 to illinois.

This is a Duke team that dominated Clemson and they look like it. All I can really conclude is that Duke is better in all phases of the game. There are some better opportunities for wins coming up in conference play, and that will define the season.
Duke did not dominate Clemson. Did you watch that game?

But we weren’t really remotely close to competing. Much like against Rutgers. That says something. Even if the West is down this year, they’re not way worse than Rutgers, and we weren’t close there.

We did learn that Duke is where Northwestern should be.

I would not be surprised to learn that Riley Leonard becomes a Heisman Candidate if he continues to play like he had last week (12 for 12) and today.

While Riley reportedly has a 3.9 GPA I suspect "we learned" that Duke now having a supporting cast with lesser academic admission standards than NU has definitely gave them a competitive advantage on the field.

(Back when NU and Duke shared the same academic admission standards we beat them regularly.)

He has little chance at the Heisman if the bigger names keep putting up gaudy stats and winning.

But he should end up as a finalist if Duke wins 10+ games and he keeps this up. He’s a baller.
