^ A safety spot might just open up after this upcoming season (which would be perfect timing, allowing IC to get acclimated and learn the playbook).

Just seems like yesterday when IC burst onto the scene as a RS frosh via necessity; while IC was raw, he showed flashes of his talent.

Those were dark days for the secondary - but it's not like there wasn't some talent/experience on hand with Mabin and Peters (but as they say, a secondary is only as strong as its weakest link).

But IC leaves the NU secondary in seemingly good hands; might just be the deepest unit (the RBs may give them a good run) - quite the turn around for both units when not too long ago, they were the 2 weakest.

Now the problem is with the O-line and WRs (also would like to see more depth on the D-line and LB corps).
