I've said what I think about position coaches and coordinators that we need to take a look at. I've also said that if you advocate for getting rid of a coach, you better have a realistic replacement lined up. I think if we did get rid of McCall, we should take a look at Tim Beck. Being a Pelini guy from Youngstown, I doubt he stays.

Nebraska runs an offense that is geared toward a mobile QB and solid RB play. I'd like to see what Justin Jackson and the other backs we have in line could do in the offense that produced Abdullah and Burkhead and is producing Imani Cross. Also, we have some young mobile QBs in line. Are they Taylor Martinez? I have no idea. I don't think Alviti has Martinez's athletic ability, but I've only seen Alviti play a few snaps. But with the mobile QBs in line, I think Beck is a guy who would work well.
