He shouldn't be that far behind if he played three years in high school. Corbin Bryant played only one year in HS and was playing as a true Freshman. I think the transition from LB to DE, the necessary weight gain to play DE, and learning how to play against the run is more of an obstacle than his supposed lack of experience.Originally posted by Sheffielder:
I've never given it that much thought but I figured he'd be slow to develop simply due to his limited football experience prior to getting to NU. As I recall, didn't he only start playing as a sophomore in high school?
