The Vegas line is generally 3 and a hook for the Dookies. I have always liked the Cat's as road dogs and I like the hook here. I think that 1/2 point will disappear Saturday morning though and may drop to +21/2 for the Cat's. I think that we will run on the them and that our defense is better than theirs. So for the third week in a row I will have the Cat's!

I grew up a disciple of the old Washington Redskins under George Allen, whose mantra was "Defense Wins Ball Games." While I have enormous respect for Coach Cutcliffe -- and painful memories of the 1996 Citrus Bowl when NU faced his Payton Manning - led Offense -- I still believe our "D" is stout enough to win this game. The Dookies just haven't seen a Defense as capable as ours and I think we'll win in the trenches.

Say what you want about our stout defense, but we have a pretty solid offense also. We played a vanilla offense yesterday,but look for the cats to pound the pill tomorrow!

Since we're talking about some form of gambling in this thread, I thought it was important to point out that I've been riding the NU defense to a 2-0 record in my NCAA fantasy league. I have a second defense that hasn't left the bench: Alabama.
