Give a regular Division 1A team, with even a mediocre offense, 24 yards to the end zone (read: short green), and preventing a TD is an enormous challenge, especially with a serviceable QB like SIrk. NU looked like they missed their morning wake-up call, sleepwalking thru most of Q1 and it took until Q2 for the squad to shake out the cobwebs and get into the flow of the game. But when they did, and the rest is hysterical... uh, er... make that history.
