Seventeen out of 22 2008 signees left the team for various reasons. Apparently, college football was no piece of cake at ISU.

Thanks for sharing Glades. I'm proud of the way NU treats its athletes and this article says a lot about why recruits should value coaching stability when they consider a school.

Brock Spack does have a helluva record, though. The year after that article was written he went 13-2 and lost in the FCS championship game. I think he will get the Purdue job if Hazzell doesn't work out for them. It's tough to know what the truth is about those injuries. That would be a concern.
