Iowa @ NU (11/6): 6:00 PM CT, BTN

An unexpected November night game! The game will be at either 6:00, 6:30, or 7:00 PM, network TBA, and those designations will be announced this coming Saturday night or Sunday morning.
Central time, Styre? I'm in MST but need the correct reference.

Silly this time of year.

think it will turn in to a home game for eyewa,,,,,,hope not . could be electric atmosphere.....

Evanston night game! Do I get repartitions to attend this game?
You comin? Beware of uppity high end restaurants that serve crappy food in the Chicagoland area. You, being from Iowa will recognize the scam. Others? Well, they stay in business in Chicago somehow.

Meh, we all staying in Lake Geneva. Vote with your wallet, do not spend money in Illinois. Spend it in Lake Geneva with Governor Pritzker.

Farmers work hard all day long and for real money.

There’s no way these internet trolls have jobs like that.
I'm pretty sure that when RPM Steak says they have Kobe beef, and when asked to produce a certificate of authenticity and can't, stupid pig farmers from Iowa recognize a scam. Now that the place gets away with it speaks to the level they deal with in that liberal infested, uninformed cesspool.

Carson's Ribs is another gimmick. Air Force One. Who really cares?

This said, I have a lot of respect for Pat Fitzgerald, and the student athletes at Northwestern.

Chicago, the place that singlehandedly destroyed Illinois.

Carson's isn't my favorite, but what makes it a gimmick? They brag that their ribs are not "fall off the bone" and they're not. What you see is what you get?
It's just not that good. It's also not that expensive, so you do get about what you pay for. But their ribs are not good, their steaks they post on the menu as USDA Prime, are in fact, not USDA Prime.

If you have some food suggestions, I'm open. I like decent steak. I'm willing to pay for really good steak. I'm not willing to overpay for marginal steak. Who has the best Chicago pizza now? There used to be a place that had outstanding Detroit style. A hole in the wall place. Maybe by West Goethe. I don't remember.

There's some very good authentic Sicilian, but you need to be prepared for the crowd in the place I'm referring to. Let's just say connected.

I'm interested. I have an idea about the crowd you are referring to. I've met your Governor, and been involved in politics, so I've had to deal with then, and I get along with them fine. Let me know what the place is. I'd take some Rigatoni, red sauce and spicy sausage that isn't Americanized if I could get that.

If you don't want to share, I understand. I guess I could just reach out to Padrino. Probably through one of your elected officials. Ha ha.

Zoey's in Marion, IA is surprisingly good if you're looking for Chicago style pizza. No need to leave the state for that. If you're looking for Detroit style in Chicago, I wouldn't be the person to ask.

Wildfire is another steak place in the area that always seems to be packed. I don't know if that's because it's good or if, as you say, the city slickers just don't know what they're missing. I don't eat out for steaks too often, and I'm originally from Texas, so I have different tastes from the locals, but maybe somebody else will chime in.

You sound like you can get it figured out. That's probably best.

Hoping for a good game with no injuries.

Hiping since it’s a night game the parking isn’t an issue, but based on prices coming down on stubhub. It doesn’t sound like it.

Decent fans this year. They cheered for the hero from Iowa who ended the delay of game by the interlopers.

President Shapiro did not come out after that, and I think everyone knows why. Very unfortunate. Very inappropriate.

The officiating was poor both ways, but fans in the stands can’t tell the difference between a good call and bad call. Certainly no impact on the game as anyone rooted in reality could see.

Enjoyed my time. Very boring football game, but we expected that.

I’d hope ticket prices would be increased to about $250 per seat per game, and the real estate sold as people overpay in that neighborhood for whatever reason. Maybe move all the games to Wrigley field. It’s tone clean up and upgrade the crowd there, Pat Fitzgerald has earned that.

Thanks for the hospitality, Covfefe and never take the short money!

Sorry you had to witness that debacle. Hopefully you had a good trip, and our football team gets back on track next season in Iowa City.

At least you went. It seems like Iowa will be decent for the immediate future from what I'm reading?

Did you recover from the trauma of the B1G Championship game?

Did you recover from the trauma of the on field protest at NW?

It was a very non-Iowa offensive line, so not unexpected. Trauma is a strong word. FWIW, NW did communicate with me about the low class potentially anti Semantic protest on the field.
