It's about how we respond.

We are 5-1 and still have many goals in front of us. Team needs to regroup and get a win against Iowa. If that happens we're instantly back and feeling in control again. But boy it's gonna take a little to shake off this shellacking....

Our guys can do it. They need to get ticked off that this happened to them and put it to our next opponent.

Not so worried about the shellacking - the 'Cats have come back from that before (Iowa last year).

More worried about the long-standing issues...

Like not being prepared for this game? Or special teams?

It wasn't that we weren't prepared as much as the fact that we went up against a very good D in a hostile environment with an inexperienced QB. Our own D hasn't been terrible, and up to now has given up only 17 points.

One week ago, Minnesota looked offensively inept against us. Today, they scored 41 points at Purdue after the Boilers had nearly won at MSU. Things often change from week to week in college football. Very happy to be 5-1 at this point!

I think even the best college teams serve up one stinker a season. I'm just not sure how our line play will pan out the rest of the way. The offense will continue to be a work in process, but we saw today what an elite defense looks like.
