And as depressing as the locker room may be when compared to state of the art facilities, at least there has been an upgrade. My last memories date back to the late 1980s, and that would have truly been an embarrassment...

Congratulations. You are officially moving to Ignore status.
That lasted right up to 2007 when NU finally renovated them. We've all heard the stories of BC making up reasons why recruits couldn't go into the locker rooms because he didn't want them to see how embarrassing the facilities were.
It's going to be so nice to have genuinely great facilities across the revenue sports. The possibilities for future success are tantalizing.
Have you bothered looking at the actual mock-up photos available in the Evanston filings? They're redoing the thing all the way down to the "antiquated old shell of a building."
I wonder if they're ever going to sell/auction any of this stuff. I don't think I've seen anything about that. If it went out, I missed it. I'd love to get my hands on my my seats and those concessions signs for my basement! I hope I didn't miss an announcement. I may need to call and ask tomorrow.
Seats are a great memento. I have a seat from the original Yankee Stadium. A friend has 3 rows of seats from Connie Mack Stadium(Shibe Park)arranged in a bleacher like structure in his "man cave"
