Leave it to Cowherd to be so wrong about something.

Can't use the presence of NFL teams as the reason as to why the PAC 12 schools don't attract the fans/viewership that the B1G does, and for that matter, even the SEC.

Every school in the B1G aside from Iowa and Nebby has to compete with an NFL team for viewership in their area.

4 B1G schools - PSU, dOSU, UMD and RU have to compete with 2 NFL teams.

The SEC has NFL teams in Tennessee, Georgia, Louisiana, Florida and Texas (and formerly Missouri) with 2 for TX and 3 in FL.

If that were the case, why would the B1G take 2 schools from a city that has 2 NFL teams?

Consistency has never been one of Colin's strong points.

Well, to be fair, we have used the fact that Chicago is a pro town to account for some of our poor attendance
