A few notes on one of NU’s two new Wildcats...
- He said that he knew he would wind up a Cat when he got his offer back in February. He looked at the academics and the fact that they were in the B1G title game and knew he wouldn’t be able to beat it. “I just needed to see it for myself,” he said about waiting until his visit to commit.
- He spent last night in a dorm with fellow Ohioan Isaiah Bowser. He hung out with a lot of players and felt that he fit in. He said that it was on Friday that he knew he was gonna commit the next day.
- He is going to come in as a defensive tackle. Fitz told him that’s where they want him. Frankly, I agree. You don’t find that size and explosiveness very often, and it’s harder to find true DTs than it is OLs. He will play the 3 technique.
- He was impressed with the facilities, but it was more about the education, coaches and players than anything else. He loves Coach Long.
