Yikes...that five game stretch was BRUTAL! We desperately need to build off this performance and win some more.

Good on the team for getting up from the floor. They looked competitive again, playing perhaps the only conference team younger than they are.

A little more consistency and they can take duh-OSU. GO CATS!

Huh?? You forgot OSU, who have no Seniors and 1 Junior, Marc Loving. Everyone else is an underclassman. That's young. Or Wisconsin, who play zero Seniors, compared to 3 Seniors who play for NU. I don't know where this myth that NU is a "young" team started, they have 5 upperclassmen including 2 redshirt players among their 12 scholarship players. This is an average team in terms of experience.

Based on KenPom data using minutes played, the 'Cats are actually the 5th OLDEST team in the B1G this year. The league is very young in general this year. Last year, there were 8 teams that were older than average, which was a bit of an outlier, but this year there are only 3 - Iowa, Indiana and Maryland. Adding to that, Iowa is the "youngest" oldest team in the B1G since 2010, which was a year when the league only sent 5 teams to the tourney. OSU this year is the 6th-youngest team in the entire country, whereas the Goofs are only the 4th-youngest in the league.
