I just watched Justin Jackson interview about the Stanford game. What a great representative of NU. I was very impressed with his intelligent and articulate answers. He is the type of athlete I want my son around. I hope he has an amazing year and stays healthy. If you haven't seen his interview, it is on BTN. Go Cats

I do. Was still hyped up from being in Texas. Great weekend for me, Jango had a great game ( 11 tackles and a sack) as we went on to beat DeSoto and Northwestern won its game against a ranked opponent. I know how hard the players and coaches of both programs worked, so it was nice to see them rewarded for their hard work and effort.

Totally agree and the neat thing is that JJ is not an outlier. I am always impressed with what a great reflection these kids are of NU, parents, high school teachers and coaches, etc. In the rebroadcast of the Libertyville-Lake Forest game on Sunday the announcers related that one of Riley Lees teachers was shocked when she went to a football game to find out that Riley played football because his class behavior and performance was so different than she would have expected.

And congratulations to Jango and his IMG teammates and coaches for a win on the road against an always tough opponent!

Thank you. We are rolling now. Hopefully IMG and NU can continue their winning ways. Love to go to Indy to watch NU in BIG Championship. Kids like Jackson and Riley are why I was excited my son picked NU. You want your son around other high character young men.

On a similar note, I love listening to the post game interviews with players. Just listen to the ones from last week. Henry is great, I am biased, he is from Fort Lauderdale, Justin Jackson is great, Mertz was very good. I was really impressed with how good Thorson is when interviewed by the media. He is going to become a media favorite.

Thorson seemed so happy. He could barely keep from cracking a huge smile all through the interview.
