A lot of talk on the board about NU's offense and lack of imagination.
How many times has Kafka had Jones bootleg roll out of the pocket to his left or right.More times in 8 minutes of football than NU has done all year. That is what we should be doing.

How does Hilinski’s mobility compare with Daniel Jones?

NU can have Hilinski run a bootleg or pull the ball down and run a couple times a game.Would be a surprise and make the other teams D respect that option.Give our O a little different look.
Of course it would be nice if the Bears D would make an adjustment to what the Giants are doing.

Justin Fields doesn't impress me.
And the Bears took the exact wrong approach. In todays NFL, your quarterback should be the last offensive piece.

Fields has so little talent around him. Of course, Ryan Pace shouldn’t have even been around to trade all those picks for him. Mitch should’ve been his only chance.

Fields has promise and at times really looks effective. I think the Bears' biggest issue is just the talent around him. His receivers just flat out suck

The problem today was that JON was filling in as the Bears' DC.

LOL, yeah that makes a lot of sense. How are you supposed to land the franchise QB as the last offensive piece when the parity based system in the NFL only gives you a realistic chance at getting one of those QBs when you have a top 5-10 draft choice? Getting your head coach and QB right are the critical steps 1 and 2 in a rebuilding process. The Bears have that now maybe for the first time in franchise history and they have $125mm in cap space this offseason with a full complement of draft picks. The Bears have not been in such a good position in a very long time.
