Kafka signs with Vikings

Is Kafka still eligible for the Practice Squad - aren't there service time limits for being eligible for the Practice Squad? Very few teams dress 3 QB's these days too so it will be tough for him to stick I would think. Good luck to him though.
I still recall a preseason game when MK was trying to make the Bears. He got the team down to the opponents' 10+/- and threw a pass to the #2 TE who had already made the team. The TE let the ball bounce off his chest for an interception and MK was cut.
I still recall a preseason game when MK was trying to make the Eagles. He got the team down to the opponents' 20+/- and threw 4th down pass to Macklin(sp?) that would have been a 1st down, but Macklin dropped it.
If these plays are made, maybe MK gets a longer look.
Then a broken hand.
You don't see perseverance like this every day.

That game with the Eagles was a regular season game in 2011 after Vick got hurt. With the Eagles up 24-21, he came in during a drive and finished it off to put the Eagles up 10. After the Falcons got a TD to pull within 3, he started another drive that ended when Maclin didn't get the necessary yard for a 1st down, forcing a punt. When they got the ball back, Kafka went 5/5 taking the Eagles from the 9 to the Falcons 21 before Maclin dropped the 4th down pass that would've kept the drive alive.
The next week Kafka again had to come in for an injured Vick, but threw 2 picks against the Giants late in the game, and that was pretty much it.
Despite being an Eagles fan, I still hate Maclin, and now I'm free to continue doing so with him moving to the Chiefs.

Hope he does as well with the Vikes as he did in that squeaker in the Metrodome against the Gophers, that we won on a pick six.
I believe they're playing in TCF Bank Stadium this year until the new stadium is finished, so I'm hoping he gets playing time!
