Unbelievable talent you've got. I know today sucked, but three games in a row is tough and you're establishing the culture, which includes history and mental toughness, to get through it all. Even after you abused us, including that little 31-0 run that for some (cough cough) odd reason we couldn't overcome, I was and am pulling for you the rest of the way. Your talent is sick, young, and your coach is good. Great school, great fans, and great future. Enjoy the ride. Kudos.

Had a bad game. It happens. I'm following my undergrad alma mater, Shippensburg, which is 27-3, and just won its first NCAA Division II game, hitting 18 three-pointers in the process. Two of their three losses this year came against teams that actually went sub-.500 in their conference. Sometimes the shots just don't fall. I'm very excited about the future of NU basketball.

Thanks for the good wishes. You guys have a very good coach in Pikiell and he is a winner. In time, your program will make noise in the B1G.

Yeah, our time will come--it takes a lot longer to right a ship than to initially set a proper course. We'll get there. But this year's March Madness is yours to make noise. The structure plays more into your hands since there's time off between games. The B1G tourney is brutal because one tired moment and you lose the game. My take on the Wildcats is that you're more like a German car that functions well at higher speeds than you are a big-horsepower truck. You need rest in between games to function at a level that can dominate other teams. The offensive schemes you run needs both mental and physical quickness, and the B1G Tourney format makes it harder on a team like you than half-court teams. We'll see how it goes, but this is obviously a big time for NU. I'll be watching. :)

Thanks buddy. Remember, we are NU (not NW)!
