Other than 'don't go 3-for -26 from three' or 'don't allow 9-for-22 from three', what does nu need to do to get the win tonight?

I'll admit, I don't really remember the first game. It seems that PSU was playing fairly poorly six weeks ago and is actually playing pretty well now.

Even if it's not much, it's still nice to have something to play for in March.

Other than "make shots", I'd say don't be intimidated by their athleticism. PSU has 2 very good basketball players (Taylor and Garner), and a bunch of long, athletic guys who harass the heck out of you. NU seems to be intimidated by long guys, which throws off their shooting (see OSU, MD, MSU, Iowa, etc.). Relax and let the game come to them. Accept that it will be a close game and work the ball into Alex inside first, then pop it back out for a 3. Don't just pass it around the perimeter because PSU will crowd the 3 point line and NU will again have a 2-31 game or something.......

Listed as PK today. Inconsistent NU just has to have one of their good games.

Don't play scared. Come out and expect to kick ass!

The last game, I wasn't very impressed by Penn State's defense. We had lots of open looks from 3... that we didn't make. Falzon 1-9, Demps 2-8, MacIntosh, Lindsey, Taphorn 0-8 combined. I don't really see it possible that we shoot 11% again (Sorry famous last words). Pardon was very productive 5-6 for 12 points and Olah wasn't playing. Olah and Pardon should be able to get it done tonight. We only lost by 9 with no Olah and the worst shooting I've seen...ever.

Against Iowa and Ohio State, I didn't see us as being able to handle the length and athletic ability. I'm not getting that from Penn State.

1) Demps or Olah/Pardon need to show up. If Demps misses his 3s and Olah falls in love with his jump shot, the Cats are in trouble.
2) Demps needs to play defense like a senior, not like a freshman. How many times did he completely lose his man on the most simple moves vs. Michigan?
3) How about 6-8 points and 5 rebounds from Lindsey?
