Lipper did it! Won the European Masters in a one stroke playoff at -18 for the tournament. Some absolutely incredible shots in amazingly tough situations. The first shot I saw him hit at 6AM was a tee shot to within 6 inches of the hole-- on a par 4! David was down one stroke going into the 18th hole and stuffed an approach shot to a few inches for birdie to set up a playoff. Some great short game work and the tournament was his! With the win, David gets a 2 year full European Tour Card-- a nice jump up from the Asian Tour where he has been playing (and was third on the Order of Merit but likely now will be #1). David also cashes a pretty nice check of half a million dollars. He is now in the top 50 in the Race to Dubai and as such can play in the World Tour Championship event. David's world golf ranking has climbed about 400 places in the last couple of weeks to just inside the top 150! So happy for David, a real nice guy, and Coach Pat Goss (also a super nice guy). Go 'Cats! Oh, and Luke Who?
