Was great getting to see the game on TV this week as opposed to last week's game limited to the computer monitor. Maybe someday my cable provider will add BTN2 (so I can record the game) but until then this is the next best thing.

Have to believe that our game with Michigan next week will be elevated to BTN1 even if other games end up sharing the time slot as unexpectedly happened this week.

Thanks for the props. Since you got the Roku my suggestion is to investigate a subscription to Acorn ($50/yr). They are the repository of all shows British/ Australian and Canadian mysteries, drama, sagas etc. They offer a 30 day free trial so you can evaluate if its something of interest. Great thing about BTN2go on Roku is that we don't have to be subjected to BTN's commercials!. Also can watch our non-rev sports on big screen.

Can you pause and rewind?

Good question. I never tried it but suspect not since Roku does not run through the cable box that has the VCR, at least as I have it configured to go through the receiver so the sound will come out the external speakers rather than from the TV. Maybe someone else can chime in with their experience.

My version of the Roku player does include some memory but it is limited and when I asked about it to the BBuy salesperson he agreed with my stated assumption that it was there for gaming purposes.

on Roku for games that are being streamed live I think you are stuck with live transmission- for archived games and streamed shows i.e. Netflix both pause and rewind are possible
